A place for what comes in
Welcome to The Foyer
Welcome to The Foyer — a place where your calls are met. Rachel receives the call. Eva holds what happens after it. Neither half is offered on its own here; the package is the pair.
The interruption behind the work
The problem
The phone rings while you're under a sink. Or in the chair. Or up a ladder with both hands full. You'll call them back. You mean it. But the job in front of you takes longer than you thought, and by the time the van's packed, that call is the third thing on a list you'll get to tonight. Sometimes you get to it. Sometimes it's tomorrow. Sometimes the caller tries somewhere else first, and by the time you call back, they may have already booked with whoever picked up. Nothing here is a problem with your work. You're good at the work. It's the twenty minutes after the phone rings that nobody's holding.
Then the ones that came in as a form or an email sit in a folder, or in a text thread, or on a scrap of paper on the dash. A message gets taken. Nobody writes down which number to call back, or what they actually asked for. So you call back and start from the start. And you're the only one who knows how to answer most of it anyway, so even when someone does take the message, you're the one who calls back. That's the part The Foyer holds.
The pair, working by your rulebook
Two assistants staff The Foyer
Rachel
Rachel is an AI receptionist. She receives the call — she picks up, greets your caller the way you'd want them greeted, asks what they need, and captures who they are and how to reach them. When a call meets the handoff rules you set, it goes to you or your team. She doesn't decide what counts as urgent — your rules do. She identifies herself as an AI assistant on the call.
Eva
Eva is an AI executive assistant. She takes it from there — records what came in, drafts the reply for you in your voice, and keeps the next step visible. She identifies herself as an AI assistant on the call.
A receiver is named at setup: the person on your team who takes a call when your handoff rules send it to a person. Everything they run to is the rulebook you and we agree together — the hours, the call types, and the receiver. It is your rulebook, not ours.
Rachel and Eva work to your rules, in your hours, with the calls you'd otherwise be getting to later.
What The Foyer does
- Answers inbound calls according to the hours and rules you approve.
- Captures the caller's contact details, with their permission, at the time of the call.
- Records the details of what was asked for, in one place.
- Routes and escalates to the right person on your team when that's what the call needs.
- Sends you a summary of what came in.
- Eva drafts the follow-up for you, in your voice, ready for you to review and send.
- Directs the next step and makes it visible to whoever needs to take it.
Read together: Rachel holds the call, Eva holds what happens after it. Neither half is offered on its own here — the package is the pair.
What it does not do
- It does not make pricing decisions or quote your customers.
- It does not give technical advice.
- It does not handle emergencies. Complex, urgent, or sensitive calls go to your own team, by the handoff rules you set.
- It does not make binding commitments on your behalf.
- It does not send anything without you.
- It does not replace your judgment.
- It does not make outbound calls or send outbound texts unless that's separately scoped.
- If a call needs a person outside your team's hours, the details are recorded and a callback task is created.
Who it is for
- Service businesses with inbound demand you can't always get to yourself.
- Teams where the owner is still the one who calls everybody back.
- Businesses with more than one location — setup coverage and pricing are both per location. A second location is a second Foyer, set up on its own and priced on its own. People, market, and demand differ by location, so each one is configured for itself.
Frequently asked questions
Does someone answer every call, at any hour?
Not at any hour, and not every call — coverage follows the configuration you approve when The Foyer is set up. We agree the hours, the call types, the receiver, and the handoff rules with you, and The Foyer works within them. If a call falls outside what we've agreed, it's recorded and a callback task is created.
Does The Foyer talk to my customers without me?
No. Rachel receives inbound calls and captures the details, and Eva drafts the follow-up for you in your voice. You review and approve each message before it goes out — nothing is sent without you. Outbound calling and texting are not included unless separately scoped.
What happens to a call The Foyer can't handle?
It goes to the receiver named at setup, or to you, according to the handoff rules you set. The details of the call are recorded either way, so whoever picks it up has what they need.
Will this work with the way we already do things?
The Foyer is set up around the hours and rules you already work to. We agree them with you before anything goes live, and you can change them.

Bundle price. Applies when Rachel and Eva are purchased together as one bundle and stay active. If a component is removed, standard component pricing applies. The price shown covers one location and one account. Rachel's services are priced per location, so each additional location is set up and billed separately.
